Stanley
Golf Course is a 27-hole public course located
in New Britain, CT, a suburb of the State’s
Capital of Hartford. In 1999, Ian Scott-Taylor
completed a remodel of three holes (#’s
2, 3, and 13 on the Blue Course), designed
three new greens, redesigned three holes (#’s
4, 6, and 9 on the Blue Course), and designed
a state-of-the-art driving range and teaching
facility.
The first two photos provide a glimpse
into the construction of two of the remodels.
The final photo is of the completed second
hole on the Blue Course and was featured on
the cover of the commemorative issue (August
2002) of the prominent industry magazine for
superintendents, Golf Course Management. |
